Launch of Student Development Co-Curricular Activities

The Ministry of Education and Technical and Vocational Training during a press conference held on February 15th, 2024, announced plans for the 30th Annual Government Secondary Schools Sports Association (GSSSA) Championship. Universal Children's Day
Scores of children from public and private primary schools today gathered at the Church of God of Prophecy East Street Tabernacle in observance of “Universal Children’s Day dubbed, “For Every Child, Every Right: Invest in Our Future”.
Delivering motivational remarks on behalf of Minister of Education the Hon. Glenys Hanna Martin, Permanent Secretary Lorraine Armbrister reminded the students that they each have special gifts to offer the world.
Spoken word, poetry, and melodious musical selections echoed throughout the service. A special offering was lifted by the Primary Principals’ Association and proceeds were given to the Ranfurly Home for Children.
