A comprehensive look at the meaning of each BGCSE and BJC grade.

There are 168 schools where we would have started the internet upgrade from DSL to fiber. Out of the 168 schools, 42 are basically complete except for the provisioning. The provisioning exercise will entail the configuring of all computers, laptops, copiers, tablets, printers, and other devices, onto the new certified wired network. This process will also create levels of access to the internet based on who the users are [students, teachers, and administrators].

Anatol Rodgers High School is the first in a series of schools that will undergo this process.

Over 40 students of the Government High School (GHS) were today awarded for outstanding achievement in academic performance for the 2019 Christmas term. Obtaining the highest grade point average of 3.70 was 10th grader Davian Cartwright.

The school’s former head girl Sherell King during her keynote address challenged the student-body to apply the principles which she said led to her success. “I challenged myself by setting the bar extremely high and found that applying the principles, faith, discipline and focus; I was able to obtain a 3.9 GPA.”

Students received certificates for the following categories: Principal’s List, Honour Roll, Most Improved, Outstanding BGCSE passes, Subject Awards, and Perfect Attendance.
